Highway News began in March 1957 as a little mimeographed sheet called Highway Evangelist with a circulation of 280. After many changes over the years, including the name change in 1988, it is now a 16-page publication. Each month, 29,000 copies are distributed.
Inge Koenig has been the editor since February 2009. Several columnists contribute each month, among them TFC's President & CEO, Scott Weidner, as well Chaplains Gary Nussbaum and David Roberts. Donald Hollinger, a trucker, photographer and antique truck enthusiast who has been involved with TFC for many years, writes many of the Highway News articles.
