Transport For Christ, International

About Highway News and Good News
Highway News and Good News is a monthly magazine published by Transport For Christ. Ministry supporters automatically receive a subscription with a donation of $30 or more. Supporters may choose to buy 3 or more magazines each month at a bulk rate and distribute copies to their local truck stops and restaurants.

Highway News began in March 1957 as a little mimeographed sheet called Highway Evangelist with a circulation of 280. After many changes over the years, including the name change in 1988, it is now a 16-page publication with a full-color cover and center spread. Each month, 39,000 copies are distributed.

Jennifer Landis has been the editor since November 2001. Several columnists contribute each month, among them TFC's President & CEO, Scott Weidner, as well as Director of Church & Community Relations, Gary Nussbaum, Chaplain David Roberts, and TFC Board member Ellen Voie, Chairwoman of Women In Trucking. Donald Hollinger, a trucker, photographer and antique truck enthusiast who has been involved with TFC for many years, writes many of the Highway News articles.
